PUSHD

Stores the current folder name for further use by POPD command and changes it to the specified directory.

Syntax:

PUSHD [Path]

Path – the path to the new current folder.

Usage:

When you use PUSHD command, the directory name is stored in a virtual directory stack. You can use POPD command several times to retrieve the required folder name from this stack.

If you specify a network path with PUSHD, it will temporarily assign the highest available drive letter (usually Z:) to the specified network path. POPD removes this assignation.
